DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion is critical to Nigeria’s economic development, particularly in addressing social and economic disparities. The government has initiated several programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, including the National Gender Policy, the National Youth Policy, and the National Disability Policy. However, more needs to be done to address the significant gaps in these areas, including promoting women’s participation in the workforce, addressing social and economic disparities, and promoting the rights of vulnerable groups.
